AlphaSTAR Corporation (ASC) was established in 1988 through government Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts. Through the years of aerospace industry restructuring, the AlphaSTAR Corporation has established a niche market as a subcontractor serving a range of diverse engineering needs for aerospace industries. In performing SBIR contracts for various government agencies, the AlphaSTAR Corporation has focused on the development of specialized software solutions providing technical research and development for the computational advancement of key industry technologies (i.e., Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Structural Mechanics (CSM), Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) and Automated Manufacturing). The company's primary objective is to provide system integration services through value adding achievements based on technical experience and development of commercial software packages utilizing state-of-the-art computer hardware and engineering solutions. In 1999 Alpha Star released GENOA (General Optimization Analysis) software as its flagship product. GENOA is module based software package that provides the most advanced analysis suite for polymer/metal/ceramic matrix composite structure. GENOA, a Virtual Testing tool, accurately predicts durability, damage tolerance, and reliability of aerospace structure as well as other industries such as automobiles, computer chips, and construction companies. The GENOA software has been verified in several industrial applications. |
